Why Cyclhad is a Global Leader in Particle Therapy

CYCLHAD is far more than a treatment facility. It is a hub of scientific, clinical, and technological innovation, embedded within an exceptional ecosystem that brings together a leading cancer center, a university hospital, world-class research institutes, and higher education, just minutes from the sea.

Since 2018, CYCLHAD has been delivering proton therapy in close partnership with the Centre François Baclesse, surpassing 30,000 treatment sessions to date. The center operates the IBA ProteusONE system, which currently treats the highest number of patients per year in Europe (IBA data), reflecting both clinical excellence and operational maturity.

CYCLHAD’s ambition extends well beyond today’s standards. Specializing in proton, carbon, and helium ion therapies, the center will reach a new milestone from 2028 with the C400 IONS accelerator from NHa (Normandy Hadrontherapy) – the world’s first compact multi-ion system dedicated to cancer treatment. This breakthrough technology will position CYCLHAD at the forefront of next-generation particle therapy.

The tour is available in four time slots on 13 June 2026, each offering transportation to and from the CID Conference Venue in Deauville for your convenience.

1st bus: Depart CID Deauville at 08:00 → Arrive at Cyclhad at 08:50 → Visit from 09:00 to 10:30 → Return to CID
2nd bus: Depart CID Deauville at 09:30 → Arrive at Cyclhad at 10:20 → Visit from 10:30 to 12:00 → Return to CID
3rd bus: Depart CID Deauville at 11:00 → Arrive at Cyclhad at 11:50 → Visit from 12:00 to 13:30 → Return to CID
4th bus: Depart CID Deauville at 12:30 → Arrive at Cyclhad at 13:20 → Visit from 13:30 to 15:00 → Return to CID

How to Get There

Participants will be transported by bus from the CID Conference Venue in Deauville to Cyclhad. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes, providing a comfortable and convenient means of travel.
